My name is Keith Rivadeneira, I’m currently a student attending The City College of New York (CCNY) for a B.E. in Mechanical Engineering and I’m applying for an internship with WSP. The reason for me applying for the Mission Critical Mechanical Engineering internship is how much I admire WSP’s ambitious goals to achieve a net zero emission production by 2040 while still tending to clients needs and being a lead innovator. These goals also align with my personal ones as I’m a big advocate for companies to develop plans and to follow them through in order to bring their emissions down to near zero. I believe I would be a good fit for this position because I already have experience with CAD software in the Autodesk ecosystem, I have good communication skills from my current job and the robotics team I mentor, and I have interest in working in a field full of seasoned engineers to learn from and collaborate with. I’m available on Mondays and Wednesdays from 3:30 PM- 9:00PM, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10AM-4PM, and I’m free all day on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
